They go out with food and clean water for stray dogs and cats. The dogs know their whistle and come running. Some even swim across the water to reach them.

Who they are
Two young men who won’t walk past.
Gaza Animal Rescue is Aref and Osama, two young men in Gaza looking after the animals the war has left behind: strays with no one to feed them, animals who are sick or hurt, and the pets of families struggling to keep them fed.
They film what they do and share it, so people all over the world can see the animals they meet and help them keep going.
What they do
Feeding. Caring. Hoping.
Vet care
When an animal is sick or hurt, they take it to the vet. Jack was dewormed and vaccinated. A kitten who came to them crying at night needed surgery.
Helping families
Every Saturday, children arrive carrying their cats and dogs, some straight from school. A little food means they can keep caring for their best friends for another week.
