gazaanimalrescues.com tells the story of the Gaza Animal Rescue Team, Aref and Osama, and links to their fundraiser. The website is created and run by Hunters Country Press Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number 15919393, with its registered office at 3 Grosvenor House, 3 Chapel Street, Congleton, Cheshire, CW12 4AB.
Hunters Country Press Ltd is the controller of the limited personal data described in this policy, under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (“UK GDPR”) and the Data Protection Act 2018. For any question about this policy, email info@hunterscountrypress.co.uk.
2. The information we collect
We don’t ask you for any personal information. There are no contact forms, sign-ups or accounts on this website, and we don’t run analytics or advertising trackers.
Like almost every website, our hosting provider records standard server logs when pages are requested. These can include your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request. They are used only to deliver the website and keep it secure.
3. Donations
Donations are made on GoFundMe, not on this website. When you give, GoFundMe collects and processes your payment and personal details under its own privacy policy. This website never sees or stores your card details.
4. Services used on this website
- Vercel, Inc. hosts the website and processes the request logs described above (Vercel’s privacy notice).
- Google Fonts (Google LLC) supplies the fonts, so your browser sends your IP address to Google when a page loads (Google Fonts privacy).
- GoFundMe supplies the live fundraiser total shown on the Home and Donate pages. When that widget loads, GoFundMe receives your IP address and browser information and may use cookies. See our Cookie Policy.
The videos on this website are hosted here, so watching them doesn’t send information to any social network. Links to Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook and GoFundMe take you to those services, and once you leave this website their own privacy policies apply.
5. Why we process this information
We process technical log data, and load the services above, on the basis of our legitimate interests: running a safe, reliable website and showing people how the fundraiser is doing. We don’t sell personal data, and we don’t use it for profiling or automated decision-making.
6. International transfers
Vercel, Google and GoFundMe may process data in the United States and other countries outside the UK. Where that happens, they rely on recognised safeguards such as the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. How long information is kept
Server logs are kept by our hosting provider for short, rolling periods in line with its standard practice. We don’t keep any other personal data from this website.
8. Your rights
Under the UK GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data erased;
- restrict or object to our processing of your data;
- data portability, where it applies.
